That banner is just breathtaking, I must say!

I am enjoying the banner. I love how it's Red, Blue, and Yellow (Gold but whatever. XD) so it reminds me of the international First Gen games.

Thanks! I put a lot of work into it. Made with Paint.NET and Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. It's the same tint as in the Pokémon Special logo, btw.

I went ahead and improved the Poké Ball favicon by removing that ugly shadow. Replace the old one with this one:

He was there in the Pokeball conversation picture, along with some playable characters from the games

When my sis was checking the forum she asked me what the hell is ash doing there? Of course she clearly showed her disgust and I answer plainly like. It's because of the skin, I can't do anything about it.

I liked it! I'm just confused about the logo over the art. Will we use the one on top of the forum (TEAM SPECIAL SCANS) or the one over the pic (Team_Special_Scans)?

I would rather see regular spaces than lines between Team Special Scans and see the stroke effect applied to the forum address and IRC address. It looks fine otherwise.

I have a friend who is an artist, and a really good one at that. I could ask her to do a commission of an original trainer that we can have be our "Team Special Scans" Trainer. Like a "TSS-Tan" or something. That could be one of our logos.

Hmmm, a mascot wouldbe a good idea... Maybe not a made-up trainer, but a character or Pokémon that is very iconic of Pokémon Adventures. Someone like Yellow, Emerald, Chuchu or even Saque! (man, I love Saque). That's a point.

Yeah. However, after next Tuesday it'll be a bit hard for me to get in touch with her for a while. I mean, it'll be alright, but moderately more difficult.

Isn't Red iconic for Special too? He's the most popular character.

Hey, I'm new here (just joined like a couple of minutes ago). I know that there's already been a lot of different versions of a logo/banner suggested but I decided to give it a whirl, kind of see if my Photoshop skills are even decent. Here's a w.i.p version (hope the watermark doesn't throw it off too much)

Just to point out some really big flaws in this that I'd like opinions on: all those different brush strokes crammed in the left corner feels sort of unbalanced, and the images I used are only from BW which could be sort of off-putting for a team that focuses on PokeSpe in general.
I've been working on a banner too, but it's not even close to finished yet. Just thought I'd post this to get some feedback and advice.

It's a good work, but I also think it should have more than one arc (and the gray from the images should be removed). But thank you!

Wow I love it. when it's finished you can put it up in the gallery.

I agree with Duke that adding more arcs would make it look better.

I'm in the process of including more arcs in it, but there's a problem with the gray background - I overlapped the images with it purposely because I thought that leaving it without the gray would highlight the lighting difference between the images, so I actually have no idea how to clean it up. I can try to, or leave it and overlap it with a different color/multiple colors. What do you think would work better?

You should try different colors then.
